Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme

In 2019 the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport introduced the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, an initiative to help fund the installation of gigabit-capable broadbands in rural areas.

These types of broadbands, often referred to as ethernet circuits, offer the quickest and most reliable broadband speeds but are typically costly to install. But now, under the scheme, businesses in certain areas may be eligible for funding towards the cost of installation, enabling them to have an ethernet circuit that may have otherwise been cost-prohibitive.

Under latest developments, SMEs in Warwickshire are now eligible to apply for funding up to the maximum amount of £4,000 as part of the Government’s commitment to bringing reliable broadband connections to rural locations.

Our IT support company Birmingham has successfully partnered with the Scheme to bring this service to some of our existing customers who have been delighted with the result. If you would like to know more, or explore how you could take advantage of the scheme, please do get in touch. A quick postcode check will soon identify your eligibility and get you on the road towards the quickest and more reliable broadband available.
